Flower Language

In Europe and America, during the 1800's, society developed complex meanings for different flower colors and varieties. Society has changed and we urge you to not get "hung up" on meanings which originated over a hundred years ago. The one exception is RED ROSES.

Crimson Roses....Mourning

Chrysanthemum....You're a wonderful friend

Camation-solid....Yes

Carnation-striped....No

Daisy....Innocence

Daffodil....You are the only one

Geranium....Stupidity

Hyacinth,,,,I'm sorry

Orchid....Mature charm

On Mother's Day and Easter, a lady wears a white corsage if her mother is deceased; any other color if her mother is still living.
